P. 6
Dr. D Behera MESSAGE
President At the out-set let me express my appreciation to all the faculty, delegates, and the
India Chest Society entire organizing team for the resounding success of NAPCON 2021.
Dr. D J Roy Let me reiterate that respiratory or pulmonary medicine has been witnessing
rapid strides forward and the scope of management has expanded well beyond
President Elect Tuberculosis. Therefore, the NAPCON 2021 conference showcased talks in 6
India Chest Society parallel halls covering a plethora of topics, considering the exponential expansion
of this speciality.
Therefore this Highlights of NAPCON Book has been mooted considering that
it would have been difficult for delegates to attend all the sessions as they were
held in parallel halls. Hence, I firmly believe this snapshot of the conference
sessions featured in this publication will be of useful reading and will serve as a
perpetual reference material.
Looking forward to meet you all at the next NAPCON at Udaipur.
First of all, let me congratulate the entire organizing team of NAPCON Varanasi
for hosting a very successful meeting. The primary goal of this conference
was to bring together pulmonologists from all over India and to engage them
in academic and scientific discussions. I acknowledge our diverse and dynamic
group of speakers and panelists who presented comprehensively from six
different parallel halls during this conference. Most importantly, the enthusiasm
and participation of all delegates during NAPCON Varanasi made our time
together both productive and fun.
The expansive scientific program would have made it hard for any delegate to
attend all the sessions and therefore this Highlights of NAPCON Book is hence
being published so as to provide delegates an understanding of this meeting
holistically, in such a way that readers can find highlights of all important talks
by just turning a page in this book. I am confident that this Book will become a
useful resource to all delegates.
