Organizing Secretary To begin with, let me convey my sincere gratitude to all the esteemed faculty,
NAPCON 2021 delegates, and all the office bearers of Indian Chest Society and National College
of Chest Physicians, and most importantly the entire organizing committee of
NAPCON Varanasi, for their active contributions towards making the conference
highly successful and memorable.

The conference had a large presence of pulmonologists in the holy city of
Varanasi, the scientific program was held simultaneously in multiple halls
between 31st March and 3rd April 2022. The wide plethora of topics covered in
the meeting made it difficult for anybody to have an insight of the entire scientific
deliberations held. Therefore, this important ‘Highlights of NAPCON Summary
of Proceedings’ publication has been compiled to help provide an overview
about the scientific deliberations held during the meeting. Additionally, this
publication would be all the more useful for those who could not participate in the
conference and also act as a permanent resource material for all academicians
and consultants alike.

I firmly believe this snapshot of the conference sessions featured in this
publication will be of useful reading and will serve as an useful reading material.

NAPCON 2021 conference as a very memorable annual meeting.

In our endeavour towards making this NAPCON Varanasi experience even more
meaningful, a Highlights of NAPCON Book is being published which comprises
of key highlights of all important speaker-wise talks presented during this
conference. This important publication is aimed at providing a good insight of
the scientific deliberations held during this meeting in multiple parallel halls.
Moreover this important book can potentially be seen as a wrap-up of the
expansive scientific deliberations held during the conference. Therefore I highly
